The tale behind the tales

Once upon a time (about a second ago), there lived a beautiful* (I have to say that, otherwise it isn’t a very good fairy tale) family of four.

They lived on a far, far, away island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. (Oahu, Hawaii)

When, all of the sudden, “POOF!”

They found themselves in a really, really, really far, far, away land on top of the world. (Fairbanks, Alaska)

These true-ish tales are the magical, happily-ever-after, arctic blasts about what happens when people stop swimming under the rainbow,

and start running from bears.

The (un)real world, Fairbanks, Alaska.

(All told through the smoke-signals of a recently relocated, self proclaimed, arctic loon; Alaskarella. Thanks for checkin’ in! I mean it. Thank you.)

  3. I hadn’t seen this before! Very, very clever and cute 🙂 As for the man taking pics for 8 years straight, crazy! I think I’ve aged way more in the past 8 years and would be a little too afraid to do so from now on out…
